Funding Priorities

Women's Imaging Center Endowments

As we celebrate the completion of the Women’s Imaging Center, fully funded through generous community philanthropy, we continue to work on our long-term goal to raise $2 million to create three Women’s Health Endowments. These endowments will support mammogram scholarships for women in need, ensure technology is state-of-the-art, and provide essential education and outreach.

Women’s Health Compassionate Care Endowment:  $1 million

Earnings on this endowment will provide full and partial financial scholarships for women receiving mammograms and other important health screenings at St. Luke’s Wood River. The fund helps offset the cost of care for patients with limited financial means and will help to increase mammography and other women’s health screening rates in the Wood River Valley.

Women’s Health Technology and Information Endowment:  $500,000

Earnings on this endowment will provide funding for future equipment and software upgrades so that the technology in the Women’s Imaging Center remains state-of-the art.  Earnings will also provide for continuing education and training so that the women’s health staff maintain relevant certifications and are exposed to the latest information on women’s imaging technology and women’s health services

Women’s Health Outreach and Education Endowment:  $500,000

Earnings on this endowment will provide educational resources within the Center. This endowment will also fund extensive outreach and education to women with financial, educational, cultural, geographic and psychological barriers to women’s health screenings.

Make a gift to Women's Health Endowments today.
